Covid-19 Response

On May 7th 2020, Governor Larry Hogan lifted the ban on elective dental procedures and allowed us to resume services in phases. We are excited to see everyone again. We have been working diligently to improve our protocols to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to protect our team, patients, and community. We are continuing emergency care and starting to schedule elective procedures. We will resume hygiene appointments at the beginning of June. Here is what we are doing to keep you and our staff safe:

Modified appointment schedules: we are limiting the number of patients in our office to honor social distancing protocols. Each appointment is given an extra 15 minutes to allow proper disinfection between patients

Pre-appointment screenings for symptoms related to Covid-19

Advance registration: forms will be completed online to minimize papers/pens being transferred between patients and practice personnel. Those that need accommodations can reach out to our staff prior to appointments

In-Your-Car’ waiting: please call us when you arrive and remain in your vehicle/outside. We will respond when we are ready for you to enter the office. This ensures that proper disinfection has been completed

Visitor restriction policy: Only patients are allowed inside the treatment rooms. Anyone who accompanies the patient to the appointment will be asked to wait outside the practice

Mask requirements: all patients must wear a mask before entering our office and keep it on at all times, except when treatment is being completed. Please let us know if you need a mask and we will provide you with one

Hand sanitizer will be provided before and after your appointment

Temperature checks: all patients are checked for fever with our touchless thermometer

Anti-microbial oral rinses will be conducted prior to any dental work being started

Teledentistry: virtual consultations are available with our doctors. To learn more, please contact us

Our Team/Facility:

Daily health assessments and temperature checks of staff

Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) provided for our staff to follow all guidelines

Air purifiers in each treatment room that comply with OSHA and CDC requirements

Additional intraoral and extraoral suction devices are now being used to minimize aerosols

Fogger machine for more efficient and effective air and surface disinfection

The procedures being done will be at the doctor’s discretion to ensure the safety of all. This is a constantly evolving situation and if there are any updates, we will be sure to notify you. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about our safety measures. Thank you for entrusting us with your care. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during these times. We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
